Ron Bailey is an accomplished Delivery Manager at Summit, where he oversees project delivery from start to finish, ensuring each initiative is completed successfully and meets the highest standards. With over 12 Salesforce certifications and a proven track record of successfully managing more than 140 projects, Ron is a key leader in guiding teams, performing quality control, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Ron’s career spans a diverse range of functions, including IT, accounting, HR, operations, management, and regulatory compliance. His experience covers multiple industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, distribution, architecture/engineering/construction, and nonprofits. Having worked in roles ranging from software developer and analyst to trainer and tech support, Ron has a passion for leveraging technology to drive business transformation and efficiency.

Beyond his professional work, Ron is a dedicated community leader. He has served on the board and executive committees of local arts and cultural organizations and frequently volunteers with social impact and economic development nonprofits. In his personal time, Ron is a talented photographer whose work has been featured in national exhibitions. He and his wife share a love for travel, exploring new destinations and immersing themselves in diverse cultures around the world.

Designing the Dynamic Duo: Fusing the Skills of an Architect with Those of a Business Analyst - A Case Study in Driving Strategic Results for The Ohio State University Extension Program

Architects design systems. Business Analysts translate business needs. But when a team leader brings both mindsets to the table, the result isn't just technical alignment — it's business transformation. This session presents a real-world success story: how combining architectural thinking with business analysis expertise led to tangible results for the Extension Program at The Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Tasked with modernizing how the Extension Program serves educators, researchers, and the public across all 88 Ohio counties, the team delivered a Salesforce-driven roadmap and architectural framework that enabled the program to:
• Eliminate redundant systems and streamline operations across decentralized units
• Launch a unified engagement platform for constituents and stakeholders
• Increase program visibility and reporting capabilities with centralized data
• Reduce administrative overhead for county educators, freeing them to focus on impact
• Accelerate technology adoption by aligning platform decisions with on-the-ground needs

By uniting technical architecture with user-centered analysis, this dual-role approach turned complex requirements into strategic outcomes — faster, smarter, and more sustainably.
