CEO and Chief Salesforce Architect

Platform Technology

I have successfully developed, sold, supported, and consulted on software for 25+ years, including 10 years of managing sales and technical personnel with great success, and 12 years of professional services experience.

I am driven to deliver results for my clients and my company.

I am passionate about innovation, technology, and solving business problems by working smart and hard. I have been successful in every role and managed several successful teams during my career.

I am a veteran of 6 startups, including my own. I have written/published articles on software technology, security standards, Salesforce Best Practices (e.g. JDJ and SalesforceBen). And I have authored a software patent (efficient authorization in a SOA), including the implementation.

I believe in simplicity, focus, working with great people, working as a team, and I am mature and humble enough to know that I can always get better.

I have been fortunate to develop and work with the most interesting software technologies and products in the world: 9 programming languages, high performance middleware internals, AI, rules engines, cryptography, SOA, BPM, Identity Management, Web Security, 6 different cloud computing platforms (Salesforce.com, Heroku, Google, AWS, etc.), Big Data, Complex Event Processing, several enterprise applications (SFDC, Oracle, PSFT, SAP, etc.), and numerous mission critical projects.

However, I know that people, politics, governance, energy and teamwork are more important than technology. One of the keys for leaders is to see "the forest and the trees" while communicating effectively and executing with persistence.
